He is survived by: his wife Gloria Murphy of Carthage; his sons, Michael Eugene Murphy (Michelle) of Longview, Steven Ray Murphy (Tracey) and Scott Anthony Murphy (Carey) of Rockwall; his grandchildren, Krystal Ballard, Amber Ballard, Brandon Ballard, Lexie Murphy Elliott, Riley Gage Murphy, Hannah Murphy and Hadley Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Karlie, Lillie Ballard, Arianna, Grayson Goode, Kenzie and Kennedy Elliott.
