He was predeceased by: his parents, John Watford and Beulah Raines Wimberly; and his siblings, Johnny, Onis Wimberly, Elizabeth McMillan and Sue Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Wimberly of Galloway; his daughter Monica Wimberly Reed (Johnny) of Galloway; and his grandchildren, Casey Watford Reed of Galloway, Shelby Meshell of Galloway, Kristen Taylor Reed of Galloway, Sean McBrayer of Galloway and Kelsey April (James McBrayer) of Beckville. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
