With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Hardee (Carthage, Texas), born in DeBerry, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 10, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Gibbs and Maurine Wicker Gibbs; her husband Alvin Ray Hardee; her brothers, Jimmy, Basil and Arthur Gibbs; her children, Johnny Ray Hardee and Peggy LeGrand; her son-in-law David "Catman" Futrell; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Gibbs and Margie Gibbs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Lawhorne (Doug) and Barbara Futrell; her son-in-law Steve LeGrand (Carla); her grandchildren, Melissa Lewis (Clint), Sonya Davis (Troy), Brandi Pierce, Clint Stone (Bridgett) and Tiffany LeGrand; her great grandchildren, Cade Witmer, Colsten Lewis, Cody Jones, Krysta Lingo, Colby Stone, Bella Stone, Dakota Stone, Kaylee Kelly and Cullen Kelly; and her great great grandchildren, Morgan Lingo, Hayden Lingo, Sutton Jones, Carsyn Jones and Camdyn Jones.
