She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Houston and Myrtie Mae Birdwell Wills; her husband Travis Neal Hammons; and her siblings, Wilbert Wills, Willis Wills, Grady Wills and Peggy Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Gibbs, Sharon Burgess (John), Eddie Neal Hammons and Stanley Lane Hammons (Betty); her brother Jack Wills (Sachiko); and her sister-in-law Betty Wills. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the New Prospect Cemetery (403 Co Rd 212, Beckville, TX 75631).
