He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Edwin and Naomi Frances Lemon Haynes; his wife Eva Rita Johnson; his grandson Clint Hammons; and his sister Betty Cherry.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Clarence Doyle Haynes (Rhonda) of Lufkin, Rita Frances Morrow of Carthage and Rhonda Sue Hammons (William "Bill" Hammons) of Carthage; his close friend Jana Bounds of Linden; his brother-in-law Joe Rex Johnson (Pat) of Louisiana; his adoptive daughter Betty Twomey (Rob); his grandchildren, Kristi Morrow, Dillon Morrow (Melissa), Rachel Hammons and J. D. Twomey (Bridget); and his great grandchildren, Justin Morrow, Sean Clayton, Hailey Morrow, Cameron Morrow, Lexi Morrow, Aubree Bromley, Corey, Randal, Sarah Beth Twomey, Khaki Jo Twomey, Parker Twomey and Kyle Twomey. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
