She was predeceased by: her mother Nora Lynn Whaley; her son Bryan E. Vail; her nephew Josh Boykin; and her son-in-law Michael Woodward. She is survived by: her father James Boykin; her daughter Cristi Vail Woodward; her grandchildren, Koby, Natalie Yoder, Everett Nieto, Carlos Nieto, Amanda Woodward, Madalynn Vail and Alex Nieto; her daughter-in-law Machelle Vail; her siblings, Rex Boykin, Catherine Williams and Sherrie Murphy; her aunts and uncles, Judith Ogden, Clifford, Rosie Whaley and Raymond Whaley; and her close friends, Donna Rodgers, Regina Williamson, Stacie Malone, Sheila Willis, Lela Collins, Pat Smith and Karen Davis.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hawthorn Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
