He was predeceased by: his parents, James McLaughlin and Eileen Dunlavey McLaughlin; his siblings, Jimmy McLaughlin and Virginia Rizzitelli; and his mother-in-law Joyce Ann Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Ginger McLaughlin of Carthage; his daughter Lauren; his son-in-law Robert Franklin of Banks, Arkansas; his son Mark Patrick; his daughter-in-law Valerie McLaughlin of Carthage; his grandchildren, Braden Mercer and Madisyn Franklin of Banks, Arkansas; his brother Richard Sullivan (Angie) of Calabash; his father-in-law Bev Brown of Carthage; his brothers-in-law, Gene Brown (Judy) of Spring, Texas and Gayland Brown (Julie) of Maypearl, Texas; and his nieces, Kim Guman and Shannon Dingus of Connecticut. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
