It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Corrine Blackwell of Carthage, Texas, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Edward and Jean Toews; her husband Malcolm Lee Blackwell; her grandson David Christopher Gullett; and her brother-in-law Lt Commander Willis R. Hearne.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon; her son-in-law Dr. C. Ray Gullett of Tyler; her granddaughter-in-law Anne Gullett of Coppell; her sister Betty Jo Hearne of Longview; her nephews, Gary Hearne and Mark Hearne; and her niece Smokey Duverne (René).
Due to COVID-10 concerns, shortly before her death a private celebration of life was held at her bedside and a remembrance and entombment will be held at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Carthage.
