She is survived by: her husband Edward Laird of Deadwood; her mother Janie Simpson of Delray; her children, Hunter Simpson of Deadwood and Nickie Montagne of DeBerry; her granddaughter Amara Montagne of DeBerry; her stepchildren, Trent Nickerson (Jamie) of Deadwood and Nina Williams of McKinney; her stepgrandchildren, Mason, Matthew, Frank and Macy Nickerson; her sister Teresa Griffin (Bubba) of Fairplay; her nephews, Lani, Johnnie West of Delray, Haley Griffin of Fairplay, Grant and Sydnee Griffin of Carthage; and her great-nephew Lane Griffin.
