He was predeceased by: his parents, Shella Roy and Wilma Gay Bagley Lawhorn; and his siblings, Wendell, Douglas Lawhorn and Sybil Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Leisa Lawhorn of Carthage; his children, Cyndi Lawhorn of Carthage and Stephen Lawhorn (Shannon) of Slocum; his siblings, Tommy Lawhorn of Carthage, Wayne Lawhorn of Midway, Elsie Holland of Carthage and Barbara Tipton of Carthage; his grandson Tyler Lawhorn (Emily); his great grandchildren, Rhett of Longview, Brynlee of Longview and Evie of Longview; his grandchildren, Jocelyn of San Antonio, Breanna of Slocum, Paige of Slocum, Cameron of Slocum and Peyton of Van; and his pet Roscoe P. Lawhorn.
