Cathryn Austin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathryn Austin of Carthage, Texas, who passed away on November 27, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Truett Austin; her siblings, Augusta Brown, David and Chester Holt; her siblings-in-law, Frank and Dottie Denton; and her parents, Emma Florence Welch Holt of Georgia and Amos David Holt.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Austin Marler of Fair Play and Dennis Don Austin (Becky) of Beckville; her nieces and nephews, Lowell Denton (Cindy) of San Antonio, Lloyd Denton (Nurtac) of Munich Germany, Laura Hill of McQueeney and Frances Taylor of Darien, GA.; and her friends, Cazell Tooker of Houston, Vonne Walton of Chico and Linda Harris of Fair Play. She is also survived by five great-nieces, four-great nephews, numerous relatives.
