We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2024, at the age of 89, Calvin Phillips Babcock of Carthage, Texas, born in Olean, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell Arthur and Harriett Velma DePew Babcock; his stepfather Phillip Burrows; his children, Katherine Pendergraft and Newell Nathan Babcock; and his granddaughter Jennifer Wannamaker.
He is survived by: his wife Meleta Babcock; his daughter Donna Loofboro (Al); his grandchildren, Amanda Baker (Randy), Michael Pendergraft (Rachel), Jeanice Luneau (Patrick), Derrick Loofboro (Marcie) and Caitlin Gibson (Weston); and his sister Carolyn Gould. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
