He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Belle Hubbert and Grady Cockerham. He is survived by: his wife Gail Cockerham of Carthage; his children, Misty Boyd (Steve) of Van Alstyne, Cody Cockerham of Carthage and Melanie Elsaesser (Scott) of Carthage; his grandchildren, Abbi Boyd, Caroline, Christina Cockerham and Levi Elsaesser; his siblings, Mike Cockerham (Sherry) of Carthage, Carol Ellis (Rick) of Bonham and Kathryn Cockerham of Wylie; his friends, Chris Morris, Danny Harris, Ray Moraw, Paul Anzaldua, Brad Bryant, David Westbrook, Robert Barnes, Billy Hannah, Jeff Nichols and Gene Haney; his pet Remi; and also Pam Cockerham of Carthage. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, very close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633).
