She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Hogg and Mary Gladys Risinger Goodwyn; her spouse Carson Newman Parks; and her siblings, Evelyn Wagstaff, Alice Joy Cooper and Thomas Allen Goodwyn.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward "Tex" Parks (Donnette) of Clayton and Wade "Little Tex" Parks; and her grandchildren, Chad Parks (Kim), Sunny Britt (Jamie), Jesse Parks (Carman), Jimmy Parks (Courtney) and Samantha Jeans (Morgan). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
