He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jimmy Gibbs and Paul Arthur Gibbs, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Doris LaVerne Gibbs; and his sisters, Dorothy Gibbs Hardee of DeBerry and Sue Ann Ware (Kathy Wood) of Elysian Fields. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and longtime community friends.
