William George (Bill) Wrzesien Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to William George Wrzesien (Carrollton, Texas), born in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
Bill truly loved music. He was highly respected clarinetist and music educator. He started playing with polka bands in high school went on to study at New England Conservatory of Music with Rosario Mazarin. He played professionally with all the major symphonies and orchestras in Boston. However, his real love was teaching. In 2005 He retired as Woodwind Chair from New England Conservatory of Music after 35 years of teaching.
Bill is survived by his wife and love of his life, Jill Brown. Sister Dorothy Pauk of Plymouth, MA, cousin Florence Stevens of Mashpee, MA, stepchildren and spouses: Lauren and Jordan Brown of Grays Lake, IL, Gwen and Justin Brown of Aspen, CO, Kevin and Jessica Langford of Austin, TX, James Brown of Montgomery, AL, and Joseph Brown of Highland Village, TX, and five grand children whom he adored: Ava and Elle Brown; Barrett, Declan and Clara Langford.
