He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Abernathy and Pauline Abernathy (Evanston); his children, Rob (Maria) of Carrollton, TX and Peter Abernathy of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan; and his siblings, Peggy Deigel (Clarence), Donald Abernathy (Carol) and Rosemary Koessler (Dick).
