It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel David Burel of Carrollton, Texas, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Burel and Mary Burel; his wife Barbara A. Burel; his children, Bryant Burel, Alicia Jackson (Wayne) and Phyllis Copeland; and his grandchildren, Matthew Jackson (Amy), Steven Jackson (Claire), Cortney Copeland and Casey Copeland. He was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
