With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Gene Traylor (Carrollton, Texas), who passed away on August 16, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Sue Traylor of Beaumont Michigan; his parents, Louis Traylor and Viola Traylor (Nix); and his cousin Jerry MacFarlane. He is survived by: his children, Doug Traylor (Julie), Deanna Jones (Traylor) and Eric Traylor (Christi); his grandchildren, Devin, Cameron, Savanna and Presley Rose; and his cousins, Ken MacFarlane (Victoria) and Gordon MacFarlane (Waynette).
Even though he was in a hospital environment in his last days during the Covid pandemic of 2020, his children were often allowed to see him, and he knew they were there, and he was loved.
