He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Louis and Zenora Ethel Iverson Diebold; his brother Philip Diebold; and his children, Mark Diebold and Thomas Diebold.
He is survived by: his wife Lu-Dell Sininger Diebold; his sister Delores Chojnacki; his children, Angelika Stinson (Richard), Marisa Flynn (Adam), Christian Diebold, Erik Diebold and Michael Diebold (Amber); his grandchildren, Julia Whitaker, Courtney Diebold, Trinity Diebold, Savannah Diebold, Logan Diebold, Elijah Diebold, Jacob Diebold, Jordan Flynn, Alexis Flynn, Sophia Flynn and Andrew Flynn; and also Germany.
