He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kopitke and Estelle Kopitke; his brother Arthur James Kopitke; and his nephew James Robert Kopitke. He is survived by: his wife Susi; his daughter Laura Orsak (Todd); his grandchildren, Alexis "Lexi" and Aubrey of Carrollton, Texas; his daughter Elizabeth Cruz (Jason); his grandchild Cashel of New York; his son William "Bill" Kopitke; and his grandchildren, Coleton and Cade of Bellevue, Washington..
