She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Hunter Potts; and her parents, Mary Ellis Wooldridge and Dean Schlesinger. She is survived by: her son Shawn L. Bailey (Cheriece Smith Bailey); her grandchildren, Dalton, Brooke and Courtney Bailey; and her siblings, John Schlesinger and Susan Head (David). She is also survived by brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove Hill Funeral Home (3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grove Hill Memorial Park (3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
