It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odie Jim Alexander in Carrollton, Texas, born in El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Ayers, James Alexander and Barbara Saxiones; and his friend Joyce Griesé. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

“Odie Was my Uncle his brother Fred was my father, finding out about his transition was a surprise. I had not heard from him and the kids since Aunt Kathleen passed. I always enjoyed it when he would come to Texas to visit and bring the family. I also remember visiting him and the family in San Antonio. Many good memories of times past with him and his family.”
