She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joseph and Iola Rose Gillen; and her siblings, Rodney Gillen, Bradley Gillen and Jamee Gillen.

She is survived by: her sister Dani Gillen of Seattle, WA; her children, DarciRae Ortiz (John) of Carrollton, TX, Deena Dorrheim-Maxwell of Austin, TX and Darren Dorrheim of Cedar Park, TX; her grandchildren, Amber Ortiz, Shelton Dorrheim, Brianna Ortiz and Carly Maxwell; and her great grandchild Milani Rose Ortiz.
