It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Deaton (Carrollton, Texas), who passed away on July 24, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Delbert Burl Deaton; her son Delbert Burl Deaton II; her sister Juanita; and her parents, Sam Fletcher and Leola Fletcher.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ravana Deaton and Debby Ward; her close friend Dorothy Ray; her son-in-law Ed Ward (Rita Hood); her grandchildren, April Thatcher, Roy Crutchfield and Becky Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Gabrielle Riggs Thatcher, Drew Jackson, Brady Jackson, Hailey Crutchfield, Addison Crutchfield and Braden Crutchfield. She is also survived by the son of her parents.
