She was predeceased by: her parents, Chesley A. Secrist and Ruth Secrist (Ferris); and her brothers, Robert, David and Richard Secrist.

She is survived by: her children, James Apolito (Nancy), Darlene Firkins (Scott) and Deborah Pierce (Wesley); her grandchildren, Megan Apolito, Sean (Jessica), Ashley Firkins, Brandon and Bailey Pierce; her stepgrandchildren, Colleen Smith (Robert) and Shannon Ewing; her great grandchildren, Avery and Cole Firkins; and her sisters-in-law, Sandy and Marlene Secrist. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
