He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Y. Herrera and Estanislada "Mary" Herrera; his sister Gloria Castrejon; and his daughter Regina Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Herrera; his children, Maurisio Herrera, Jr. of Carrollton, Maurice Andre Herrera of Huntsville, Mark Anthony (Ashley Lynn Herrera) of Carrollton, Alicia Cruz of Fort Worth and Lucia Marie (Jason Robbins) of Carrollton; and his siblings, Christina Alvarez, Rosa Esquivel, Isabell Jimenez, Jimmy Herrera and Robert Herrera. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
