She was predeceased by: her parents, James Woodard Sr. and Ida Bivens; and her grandparents, Mary Ann Jammer McCardell, Wilson Jones and Lillie B. Woodard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Viece Taylor (Johnny) and Frenche Cooper (Don); her siblings, Loretta Layman, Mary "Liz" Woodard (Penn Johnson), Addie "Peaches" Woodard-Ford (Clark), Julia Woodard-Harris (Troy), Lillie "Diane" Powell, Jeraldean Robinson, Delicia Parson (Nevin), Jerome Brown (Wilma), James Woodard, Jr. (Kay), Arthur "Dorell" Woodard (Karen), Kelvin Woodard (Sherounda), John Wayne Woodard and Roland Woodard (Bonita); and her grandchildren, Isaac, Caleb and Elijah. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
