She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Culpepper Leary and Hestinia Leary; her siblings, Clara Jean Riley and Lawrence Hyner; and her aunt Hestoria Leary.

She is survived by: her daughter Dakota Beckworth; her son-in-law Kareem Beckworth; her siblings, Lavern Maggitt, Linda Leary and Grace Leary Moore; and her nieces and nephews, Jill Antoinette Jackson Prunty, Emeeka Maggitt, Edith Hyner, Anna Hyner, Elexandria Moore, Tony Hyner and Bert Moore. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the North Dallas Funeral Home (2710 Valley View Ln, Farmers Branch, TX 75234). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
