“He was honestly such a genuine person. I loved his personality and he was the best chemistry teacher at MCCHS. He truly did what teachers do best and left his mark on every one of his students and helped shape our minds for the better. He showed tough love but was very caring and was there to help when someone needed it and would go above and beyond for that person. He was a good person and a great teacher and its a complete understatement to say he will be missed. May he rest in peace”

“I'm trying my best not to tear up here. Skavdahl was just the coolest teacher. He actually cared about his students and we knew he'd never give up on us. Some of my best memories from high school involved him. The way he'd make us line up like a train and do chugga chugga choo choo out the door never failed to make us laugh. He would also play Abba during tests. He would switch up how he taught if someone didn't understand. These small things made our difficult days a little better. Miss u, Skav”

I can say I learned many good life skills from him, and thanks to him we are all better people.
