We bid farewell to Doris Ruth Jones (Carrollton, Texas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 15, 2025 at the age of 96. Doris Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Bryan Jones (Bryan); her parents, Smith and Fronia McCarter; her daughter Carol Shaffer; her grandson Scott Jones; and her daughter-in-law Pat Jones.

She is survived by: her sons, Randall Jones and Doc Jones; her son-in-law Dr. Joe Shaffer; and her grandchildren, Brent Jones (Poppy Jones), Lauren Gordon (Marty Gordon), Kristy Dixon (Max Dixon) and Jacob Shaffer. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, along with many special nieces, nephews and friends.
