He was predeceased by: his parents, Don F. Safford and Elizabeth Safford. He is survived by: his children, Donald Galvan Safford (Michelle) of San Diego and Allyson Marie Safford of Carrollton; his wife Yolanda Galvan; his sons, U. S. Navy and Calif; his granddaughters, Aliya and London Safford of San Diego; his sister Janet Safford Cline (Ray) of Port Arthur, TX; and his siblings-in-law, John A. Galvan (Elaine) of Lumberton, TX and Teresa Galvan of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by loving niece and nephews.
