He was predeceased by: his parents, Winifred Lois (Barlow) and LaMarr Almond Courtright. He is survived by: his wife Libby Courtright (Hellman); his children, Michael Courtright (Jessica) and Kelly Williams (Mark); his stepchildren, Charlotte Hellman (Vasilii Latashiline) and Erick Hellman; his grandchildren, Victoria Orena Courtright, Lana Courtright, Eli Williams, Hazel Williams and Madeline Latashiline; his former wife Deborah Courtright; and also Kristi Slaby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
