He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Louise Williams Hosey; his former wife Janice S. Brown; his wife Janice Hosey; his sons, Mike (Cande Hosey) of McKinney and Mark Hosey of Bonham, Texas; and his father Herman Hosey of Farmers Branch, Texas. He was also cherished by four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
