He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley C Meek and Mattie Belle Meek (Tinsley); his wife Mary Catherine; his son Kenneth Allen Meek; and his siblings, Roy Meek, DC, Cecil Meek, Clytie Meek, Jean Meek, Lavelle Smith (Meek) and Marie Galloway (Meek).
He is survived by: his stepfather Rev. D. W. Kyser; his sister Edna Auline Summers (Meek); and his sisters-in-law, Ruthie Myers and Brenda Smith (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and innumerable friends.
