He was predeceased by: his parents, Cesar Martinez Vargas and Melani Mayorga Martinez Vargas; his siblings, Kathy Sanchez, Jorge and Antonio Martinez-Vargas; and his half-brother Armando Martinez-Vargas.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Fulk DeVargas; his children, Robert DeVargas (Rebecca), Michelle Lawrence (Kendall) and Kimberly Winblood (Jim); his grandchildren, Katie Mendiola (Marshall), Nathan Lawrence, Sean Lawrence, Braden DeVargas (Kaitlyn), Blakely Winblood and Maddy Winblood; his great grandchild Jack Mendiola; and his sister Melani Nelly Barry (Fernando Martinez-Vargas). He is also survived by his brothers- and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rhoton Funeral Home (1511 S Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX 75006). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hilltop Memorial Park.
