He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Meeks and Alzie Nelson Meeks; his wife Carrie Sue Meeks; his children, Ronald Kay Meeks, Dana Alden Meeks, Mary Dow McMahan and Donald Ray Meeks; and his siblings, Syble Harrison of Opp, Alabama, Charles Meeks of Troy and Ray Meeks of Ocala, Florida. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews and other relatives.
