It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amalia (Garcia) Ayers (Carrollton, Texas), born in Baytown, Texas, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Garcia; her grandparents, Randolfo, Amalia Quintanilla, Juan and Olivia Garcia; and her brother-in-law Paul Ayers.

She is survived by: her mother Irma Quintanilla; her children, Gabriella and Wyatt; her husband Chris Ayers; her siblings, Irma DeLeon (Felix), Amparo Maldonado (Jesse), Luis Salinas and Gavino Garcia (Jessica); and also, Jim Pickering of Bellevue and Ed Ayers of Columbus, Ohio.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to support breast cancer research via the BSW Dallas Foundation.
