It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Ramirez Rivas (Carrollton, Texas), who passed away on August 30, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gloria Rivas, Joseph Rivas and Albert Alva. He is survived by: his children, Laura Aldridge (Ronnie), Alfred Rivas Jr. (Jane Rivas), Janis Rivas Franklin (David Franklin), Karen Williamson (Dana Williamson), Cynthia Rivas, Melinda Dwyer (Sean Dwyer) and Elissa Rivas Stipes (Chris Stipes); and his siblings, Hope Pirtle and Manuel Alva. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
