He is survived by: his granddaughter Elsa Valdez; his sons, George Cervantez Jr. (Regina Cruz) of Carrizo Springs, Joevanie Cervantez (Regina) of Asherton and John Paul Martinez (Jeannette DeLeon) of Katy; and his siblings, Dora Elia Santoya of San Antonio, Federico Cervantez of Asherton, Jose Eduardo Cervantez of San Antonio, Hector Pablo Cervantez of San Marcos and Melchor Sergio Cervantez of Asherton.
