He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhart Marth and Anita Oberrender Marth; his daughter Deborah Marth; and his siblings, Ruth "Tootsie" Schneider, Reinhart Marth and Ralph Wayne "Butch" Marth.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Marth; his son William "Billy"; his daughter-in-law Susan Marth of Waxahachie; and his sister Jo Ella Littlejohn of Brenham.
