She is survived by: her children, Ruthie Mae, Ruthie Powell of Brenham, TX, T. J. Mathis of Hempstead, TX and PrettyBoy Mathis (Juanita) of College Station, TX; and her sisters, Clemon Jean Wilson of Houston, TX and Jean Mitchell-Hutson of Austin. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
