It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sommerfeld (Carmine, Texas), born in Brenham, Texas, who passed away on May 1, 2018, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Rosenbaum and Virgine Rosenbaum; her parents-in-law, Emmanuel Sommerfeld and Mildred Sommerfeld; her brother-in-law Charles Otto Sommerfeld; and her niece Brittany Ridley.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Sommerfeld; her children, Justin (Elizabeth) and Melissa (Jason Smith); her grandchildren, Olivia Sommerfeld, Austin Sommerfeld, Makayla Smith and Jake Smith; her brothers, Lary (Dixie Rosenbaum) and Gary (Diana Rosenbaum); her sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Gilbert Goeke) and Kathy (Daryl Gummelt); and her nieces and nephews, Sean Rosenbaum, Jill Rosenbaum, Jeffory Goeke, Rachael Goeke, Tracy Meier, Ken Meier, Leigh Ann and Adam Seilheimer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends.
