He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Ortiz and Maria Luna Ortiz; his siblings, Eloy, Alicia and Rafaela; and his son Tony L Ortiz, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ortiz; his sister Anna Ortiz; his children, Ricardo (Wendy Ortiz) of Canyon, Cristela Ortiz of Abernathy and Danny Ortiz of Abernathy; his stepsons, Joel Santos Jr. (Nicole) of San Antionio, Jose Santos of Lubbock and Jerry (Cynthia Santos) of Floydada; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Justine, Zachary, Michelle, Adrianna, Isaac, Ericka, Jacob, Armando, Alfonso, Lauren, Diego, Harviel, Jacinto, Anastasia, Azaylee and Aliana Rose.
