With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rolland Royce Buhrkuhl of Canyon, Texas, born in Dexter, New Mexico, who passed away on November 7, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Buhrkuhl and Elsie Buhrkuhl (Ehresman); his wife Elizabeth Ann Brooks; and his son-in-law Kent Johnson. He is survived by: his children, David R. "Randy" Buhrkuhl, RN and Susan Buhrkuhl-Johnson; his grandsons, Sean Johnson and James Johnson; and his caregiver Dawn Hopkins.

The family suggests memorials be made to The Canyon City Masonic Lodge No. 730, 909 9th Ave, Canyon, TX 79015 or to the Khiva Shrine Patient Transportation Fund, PO Box 328, Amarillo, TX 79105.
