He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shawcross and Mae Meagan Shawcross; his wife Vickie Detrixhe; and his siblings, Ike, Bruce, Kenny and Walter.
He is survived by: his sister Rene Lavancha; his children, Anna Swartwout (Jimmy), Ernie Shawcross (Gail), James Hill, Jill Hill, Jodi Davis (Dustin), Bailee Shawcross and Ben Shawcross; and his close friend Wanda Panchou. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
