He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Bennett and Ardis Bennett (Shepherd); his grandchildren, Brice Bennett Hedgpeth, Dominque and Danielle Hedgpeth; his son-in-law Charlie Hixson; his sister Sue Ann Bertram; and his grandfather Louis Shepherd.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bennett; his children, Misty Hixson of Canyon, Marc Bennett (DeeDee) of Canyon and Milton Carrasco (Chris) of Corrales; his sister Joanne Lesher of Pratt, Kansas; and his pet Saydee. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
