He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Helm Read and Charles Read; his brother Terrell Read; his wife Margaret Read of Hartley; and his children, Paula Read and Don Read.
He is survived by: his daughter Marilyn Roberts (Michael) of Canyon; and his grandchildren, Meagan Swatzell, Shawn Swatzell, Matthew Swatzell, Whitney Roberts, Austin and Heather Satterfield. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
