He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferrell Abbott and Oleta Abbott (Tinnin); his son Bryan Abbott; his grandson Nicholas Harley Abbott; and his sister Freida Gist.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ted Abbott (Kitty) of Addy, WA, Patricia Abbott of Canyon and Randy Abbott (Janet) of Canyon; and his brother-in-law Roger B. Gist III. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
