He was predeceased by: his parents, E. H. Humphries and Mary Humphries (Gillham). He is survived by: his wife Fanita Humphries; his son Marshall Leyden Humphries of Canyon; his brothers, Gary Humphries (Ranelle) of The Woodlands and Nelton Humphries (Dana) of Linden; and his pets, Poppy and Pansy, II. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
